Bubs - have you ever said the Pledge of Allegiance - "..one nation, under God..", or looked on any form of U.S. currency where it says "In God We Trust". I think that answers your question.

JustAskMe: Bitter - table of one? I'm proud to say that my husband is a GM employee, and even more proud to say that my 'GM brat kids' are gainfully employed and are extremely hard workers. Let me guess - you tried to get in at GM, and they turned you down. Get over it.
On Quilts honor Walworth County's agricultural heritage

I just saw one of these quilt blocks over the weekend. I think it's an awesome idea to do it as a group to underscore the 'family-feel' that farmers have always had. I didn't grow up on a farm, but in a rural community and have many fond memories of going for Sunday drives with my family through the countryside. My hat's off to all family farmers!

I feel very honored to know Karen, and am excited to hear this news. If this were an election, she would most certainly get my vote.

localboy - I couldn't agree with you more. I'm appalled at the incidents at Mercy, then turn around to hear they won some award for excellence! What crap! I personally drive to Dean Clinics in Madison (my choice) and am glad to make the drive versus doctoring at Mercy.

Zibel - I'm here to defend Tim Roberts. He WAS NOT the IT Administrator in question. He has been part of the team getting everything back up and going, and has done an exemplary job. He is much more qualified than what we finally got rid of (Brandon Keirns), and I know would do a much better job. So there!
