On Happy birthday, James Koepp
I understand he is innocent until proven guilty. However, I wouldn't have given him the decency of a happy birthday in print. I don't get it, but that is only my opinion.
On Sheridan says he won’t resign or be replaced
BigRoadie - what was illegal about what Mike did while he was still employed by GM? Your acusations imply what he did was just that (illegal). My opinion was it was perfectly legal, and he did it because he could. Did you and your Union change the rules that would not allow this to happen again? My guess is no.
On Janesville man indicted on drug charges
They should make this drug legal. This is a victimless crime. Who does he hurt when he takes cocaine? I know Presidents who have admitted to taking cocaine and many other very smart prominent people....(sarcasm).
Sounds as if we have some bitter jealous people on here. I don't remember that many running against Mike when he ran. Apparently there are a lot of others who think they can do better. Stay the course Mike, and don't pay attention to the dissents......
On Search warrant results in two arrests
I have to buy illegal dope and smoke it because my back hurts. Woe is me. Boo hoo. All of you pot smoking dope heads are criminals. You can justify it however way you want, but in the end you are druggies...
On Rock County juvenile probation officers told to manipulate court
Why is there a need for juvenile probation officers? That is the question that will have an answer with manipulated information....
On Council praises Levitt’s first year
lvotelspeak - you are kidding right? I love people who claim they can do somebody elses job and don't have any idea what it takes. Jerry Rice on Sunday made catching a football look easy, but you had no idea what he did Mon - Sat to make it look easy. Words come easy, but performance does not.
On State computers delay unemployment benefit
Emmo, ljs64, and Cubfan - really. Check out this link: http://www.dwd.state.wi.us/ui/employers/...
Then tell me you and your employer are not paying in to this. If you were not working, this money would not be going in to this fund. If you are working and this money is going in to this fund, it is to protect YOU in a job loss, not your employer. That makes that contribution yours. Check out the tax rates and tell me the percentage formula again....
ljs64 - U.I is money that is being returned to you. You and your employer pay anywhere from 3.025 - 3.25% of EVERY paycheck you get into this fund. I have personally paid in over $59,000+ in to this fund. I would be very upset if I didn't get this on time to pay for my mortgage or groceries! Justification for complaining!!! BTW - max benefit for U.I. is $388 a week. Do you think that is fair when one has paid in over $59K + interest to this fund?
I hope Bruce McKay's mortgage company is just as understanding as Chris Marschman.
