Ummm....popcorn?

Did you read the same article that I did? Because I saw NOTHING about anyone not knowing how to use a firearm in THIS article.

And who was being "nutty"?

Can you help me out here? I'm just curious.

What I don't get is why anyone would feel the need to pay "tribute" to a person that killed himself with drugs.

Isn't there ANYONE else to pay tribute to? Maybe my late father or my late father-in-law or my late ex-father-in-law?

Just a thought, since all three of these men actually DID something for society.

I'm just sayin'.....

Actually, DiGriz, no, you don't...

...but you did anyway, didn't you?

And whose fault is that?

Yours?

Or the Gazette's?

...you are missing that his last conviction was over 9 years ago. May of 2000, to be more accurate.

Just how long do you think he should have been in jail for?

...the United States of America does NOT recognize dual citizenship of her our citizens. She does recognize dual citizenship as long as the USA is NOT one of the countries involved.

In other words, if you hold dual citizenship with Canada and Mexico, the US will accept it as it is.

However, just as an example, Ireland will grant citizenship to a US citizen so that in the eyes of Ireland, you have dual citizenship...but the US does NOT recognize the Irish citizenship UNTIL or UNLESS you renounce your US citizenship.

As for your argument that a person can not be illegal, that is a pretty damned fine knife you're slicing with...I'll bet you could shave the hair off of a frogs belly with it.

I'm pretty sure that anyone and everyone KNOWS exactly what is meant when someone refers to an "illegal immigrant/alien".

Or a trespasser...as a misdemeanor or a felony...still means the same thing.

ummmm...hannah?

it would be VERY difficult to blow yourself up with a still to make booze.

Not impossible, but pretty damned hard

And yes, I've done it...altho not in the USA as that would be illegal! <yes, I'm rolling my eyes just a little bit>

...if you read that line VERY carefully, you'll see that the psychologist said that he WOULD likely do it again.

"said he was more likely than not to offend again"

Poorly phrased, but still that he would.

to leave the wording as close to the original as possible, it would read...

"more likely to offend than to not offend"
