Yep sahmama...those pesky Freshman and Sophomores. No way would Juniors and Seniors smoke and litter. I don't care which way they go, as long as they are consistant and fair in the way that administer it.

I am so glad it went so well this past weekend! I will start going through my things ASAP since I am now home from my weekend away. I have some Teen Girls clothes and winter coats that they now decided they could part with. I may also have household goods, etc. I hope to be able to assist in some way as well. Good luck with your Surgery on Friday. You are in our prayers.

I wish I had known this sooner! I have a storage shed full of crud that I need to get rid of. And I am leaving for the weekend! I hope she does it again...or I'll have to do it again myself. Bless you Joanne!

Northman...I missed your post when I posted. A claymore...yes, illegal, but funny. How about setting up the signs with electricity? You know...similar to a cow fence. Shocking, yet not dangerous. :)

Actually...It could actually been Teens doing the stealing and replacing. Sure, they may not "NORMALLY" drive around with McCain Signs in their car, but if they are stealing them from other yards, they have something to replace them with. Although I don't agree that they should be doing these things, I think that is the most likely answer. Who else is quick on their feet and has extra time on their hands? Heck...as a teen we used to place or remove many things from peoples yards as pranks. And the Church Groups kids are quite stealthy at plopping those Pink Flamingos in the ground and the high schoolers do a fine job of toilet papering without getting caught. And heck...if I were stealing or replacing signs, I'd hurt myself moving that quickly as to not be spotted. Kids are quick. I think the idea of people removing the signs to take away our right to free speech and the right to share our beliefs is a bit too far out there. Although I agree it's stealing, it is still just a sign, not my constitutional rights they are taking.

I grew up in that area. I had all my bday parties as a child there. And that would be in the 70's. The building was updated awhile back but it might be local code rules which didn't require the system. It will be weird to drive by and not see it there. Guess McD's serves Toast now?
On Parents say they were left in dark during lockdown

I feel they did as good a job as was possible given the time constraints. My oldest daughter was notified at Craig HS and she was able to tell her father when she was picked up. We have another daughter at Marshall. TECHNICALLY...cell phone use is forbidden in school and no messages will normally be able to be sent. My daughter wanted to text us, but was told by her teacher to put her phone away. I would have preferred to know she was ok, but she followed school rules. I was able to immediately access gazettextra.com and the radio stations to find out what was happening within minutes of finding out about the lockdown. I feel the JPD and the schools did a great job.

Just FYI...it is APV CREPACO. My parents worked there for over 20 years. It'll be sad to see it close.

I do believe it's because they provide so many names that you have to glance back at the article to see who shot who, who hired who and who knew who through who. Hmmm, as confusing as I made that I should be able to understand the article itself.
