As I said before Jv93, CLUE (some people are unteachable). The system worked fine until your greedy friends started to use deceit/lies and propaganda. Kind of ironic that all was well (approx the 1970's) until the greedy folks like your self (possibly just ignorant) let the gilded set guide and rule the country into massive debt and than blame the wrong party but judging by the last election the American citizens have finally figured that the scum had risen to the top in 2010 with the right wing Republicans and they skimmed off the top layer and only by crooked gerrymandering did the lower house keep in power even though they were outvoted, Only a matter of time before the rest of the scum that you support will be swept out the door. Honest to God, your explanation of a justified CEO pay of over 1200 times as much as their AVG employee at present vs only 47 times the Avg Employee of the 1970's is down right hilarious. I think your days of B.S. are numbered when voters are made more aware of right wing Republican Ideology Jv93.

I have an economics level 101 lesson for you Jv93. I have a skill and I was paid well for it but I am now retired and want others to have what I had, a secure well paid job and with beanies. You know Jv93, the bennies that the wealthy stole from us , for years that was the standard for Americans until your friends the Republicans started unjust/unpaid wars, passed unjust laws to benefit the already wealthy, The Right wingers who supply money to the FAUX noise and the Limbaughs, Hannity's, OReilly's, and various other Hacks and Shills to lie and propagandize . In case you are just a slow learner let me repeat, In the 1970's Avg CEO made 47 times as much as the Avg Employee and now its 1200 times as much, let me repeat in the 1970's the Avg CEO made 47 times as much as the Avg Employee and now its over 1200 times as much. LETS STAY ON TOPIC NOW Jv93, AND FOR THE 3RD TIME,THE AVG CEO MADE 47 TIMES AS MUCH AS THE AVG EMPLOYEE IN THE 1970's AND NOW IN THE PRESENT THAT FIGURE HAS GONE TO OVER 1200 TIMES THE AVG EMPLOYEE. FOR SLOW LEARNERS, THAT IS WHERE ALL THE WAGES, SO CALLED BENNIES AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS HAVE GONE TO Jv93. I see that Jv93 has also attempted to spin. You wanted to know what I thought was a fair days wage for a fair days Labor , I said $16 to $25 and you spin my comments up to $45 per hr, do you have no shame Jv93 when you spin like that. I suppose you don't like to acknowledge the fact that the Avg CEO used to make 47 times as much as the Avg worker but now the Avg CEO makes over 1200 times as much as the Avg worker. I suppose you would not want to know or make known that 98% of these CEO's vote Republican. Jv93, you would also not like it to be known that wages have flat lined since the 1970's with all that extra money being given to the 1%', you know Jv93, no pensions, less wages, less social security, no 401 k plans, all these facts being supported by your buddies the right wing Republicans. I think you are heading for a new post name, the Spinmeister (in Place of Joker). Joker, you are being disingenuous to pretend that you agreed with me on some issues but only my politics blind me, when in fact it is you who have the blinders on. Come on now, over 300 filibusters by Republicans (new record, vs only 47 in sum of all History before Obama, how many judicial appointments kept at bay against Obama by Republicans, again a new record, never before in all History has such obstructionism existed and committed by your Republican friends, Who do you think your kidding Joker.

In answer to your ? jv93, a wage that a family can live comfortably on, you know, one that is above minimum wage and one that is not close to poverty wages. I would support taking away some of that corporate welfare and through the roof CEO pay and give it to workers, enough so that they can have decent housing, transportation to and from work, maybe a vacation of 2 weeks a year, can afford a savings plan to put away for retirement which you can't do on poverty wages and minimum. Throw in a pension and you can live moderately and not in poverty. I would guess that might be some where between $16 to $25 per hour, dep;ending on skills. Something that is American dream and has been for years and unions fought for until the Republicans contaminated the many rights of workers to gain for a few greedy rich. Only a fool or a greedy person would argue against that.

Seems to me Joker that I was answering all the negative posts on unions and telling all the good things that the overwhelming majority of union workers have done for their community, do you have a problem with that or do you continually want to spin the true facts to fit warped minds.
