So it sounds to me like these thief's would be using the Oakhill avenue recycled versus prairie avenue as one takes your license and one lets you get away with thievery as they seem to be doing a crappy job at caring who brings in what. Gee and this article just made it even more clear to the thief's where to take it.

I have also got some water in my basement less today than yesterday. Today one towel could do the job yesterday was a blanket and a few more towels. Oh well its spring but I thought I fixed this problem last spring. Guess not back to the drawing board I go. Try to stay dry and safe.

here we go again.... lol I had a neighbor last year running an extension cord from the other duplex to hers so her fridge and other things could stay on. Don't know how bad you got it til you have no electricity I guess. I feel bad for the people who get themselves into these situations; however you always pay peter before you go and buy whatever you in your mind feel is necessary , but it really isn't in reality.You just have to learn you can't always have steak. Peanut butter and jelly will have to do.

There was just another child killing last week, I don't remember the state. However, she crawled out the doggies door into the yard where 7 dogs. The mother pure pit-bull and 6 other dogs her puppies 16 months old. They drug her body around the yard and mauled her to death.

We all should have sidewalks subdivisions included. The kids need a safe place to ride there bikes play hopscotch etc.... there is nothing wrong with enforcing the sidewalks on people I have had to repair mine, right after we purchased home. They got us twice instead of doing it all at once (corner lot) one year they did west-side the following year they did the north-side.

Sure wish he would have shot himself. Now we will have to pay to support this ass in Jail for the rest of his life. Something wrong with this picture. Wish Wisconsin had death penalty for this reason you kill someone we kill you. Put an end to some of these tragedies and wasted tax dollars on these dead beats.

I'm sorry Sigma40 that was my husband. See he works for a living, got ours done prior to going to work. He also went and did his 76 yr old mothers as well BEFORE HE WENT TO WORK. Sorry if you cant sleep through a little noise now and then. Hope you have a great day!!!!!

This is also our tenth anniversary, so for us we are staying in tonight enjoying steak and shrimp at home saving our money. My wonderful husband surprised my with a beautiful diamond bracelet. We are going on a four day trip starting tomorrow,to the very place we were married ten years ago. Can't wait.....

I partially agree with zdog, its hard to find anyone to care about your property and respect it, sorry for what you have went through. But code violations are violations pure and simple. My daughter lives on the edge of 4th ward rents. Moved in November and has told the management company numerous times of an outlet not working. They have never even come to look at it, or sent anyone. Its hard for the tenants and hard for the landlords. Many incomes don't support 500 a month rent and to impose more on the tenant does not seem fair. However; these houses should have to be inspected at least every 2yrs and have 30 days to fix and or repair code violations and or shut it down. Not fair to the tenant I know. But something needs to be done, been this way for a long time.
