On Town of Beloit investigates racial slurs

We don't know what was said, in what context and whether or not the rememberance of the incidents in question were not compromised over the 2 or 3 (depending on how one is counting it) year span of time.
Why did folks wait 2 to 3 years to lodge a complaint?
I think Museus made the right conclusion that this ***could*** be related to negotiations.
I even suspect that the Police Union there may be getting some very savvy help from another old union president in how to push their adgenda. The Township in long years past was not savvy enough to deal with a certain union.
It's all about power baby.

You have got to be kidding - We don't know what was said, in what context - it doesn't matter the context. Do you know what these employees are going through???? Maybe you should read about the retaliation. NO employee should go to work and be called names, threatened with termination on a regular basis and retaliated against. By the way, the town has taken all contract negotiations off the table NOT the union employees. Get a clue.

And the retaliation has started - the 2 office employees have had their hours cut.

So it's "management rights" to use racial slurs. And "politically motivated" - I doubt that. Citizens should be in an uproar over this - there is NO place for this language.

Aletheia - maybe you could save your judgment of officers (the article says officers and clerks) until the complaints come to light.

Exactly - those are the only two and I doubt either one is "miles" long.
