So, without reading all of this, why not open the contract and renegotiate, you know, pay a little, then cuts won't be necessary. This ought to fire you all up. Love it. GO WALKER!

Maybe you should read the article, "When the family members could not agree to temporarily place the baby with family, CPS took custody of the child." That does not imply anything about the Brunner family home, other than they could not agree. You should not assume things.

I feel bad for George Brunner and his family. How quick some people are to judge. People will go to many lengths when it comes to their children/grandchildren, etc. I don't know the specifics, and none of you probably do either. I can only imagine what went on, and I won't judge him. He has been a good man and I would stand behind him. He made a mistake.

Germancaveguy - appreciate you finding that for me. I knew I had read something to that effect. Either way, people do need to give, especially with the economy the way it is. I have personally seen a city which was close to the size of Janesville "get all boarded up" with the loss of manufacturing jobs. We aren't "picking on teachers," just stating they need to pitch in at the same time as the rest of us have.

hdonlybob - Thanks for one positive note.I did notice there are some very unhappy people here, especially one in particular. This is just a discussion.
I do remember something being signed right after Gov. Walker made public his plans and people being upset with Janesville for hurrying up and pushing it through. I don't have the desire, nor the time to research it because it is water under the bridge and I am sure one of these people working for the school district won't locate it, only locate what is in their favor.

The Gap may have been a goldmine for 3 years, but it could also go the other way real fast. Kind of like playing a slot machine. The horse blinders are signing off for the night!

Kind of interesting. You Walker haters are probably the same people who want to give Obama 4 years to show us what he can do because the mess was from Bush supposedly. Well, what are you seeing? You aren't willing to give Walker any time at all to fix the mess this state is in. The majority voted Walker in, but because you want to whine because you will have to pay your fair share, you are forcing ALL TAXPAYERS to pay for a recall election. I certainly hope he wins. Somebody has to get this state out of this mess. How do you propose doing this, keep taxing the #@!@ out of us few people left working?
