Thanks twerp13 for mentioning DJ's bent and dent grocery store in beloit! I shop there also and the savings are awesome! I can shop there and save to almost half price on everything I buy there. Sometimes they dont have everything there that I need but when they do I dont have to go across town east or west to either walmart or woodmans. They even have items of convience that are not a savings but I dont have to shop elsewhere most times. I love that they have Sorgs meats and cheese from decator dairy in brodhead. The people that work there are so nice, they really make you feel welcomed. I also shop at the Amish store in Albany, but thats a ways out of town for me, so I am really glad that DJ's bent and dent is in Beloit now, on park ave north end of beloit south of inman parkway. Its really worth checking out!

My sympathy goes out to this family as I do know them and pray for their strength in Gods Healing.
I to want to point out to the readers here that something seriously needs to be done about drinking and driving. Just go to the public records listed for today, five out of six drivers were arrested with prior DWI's.
One first time, three second time, one fourth time and one a fifth time! What the hell is going on, take their dang DL's away! I have 22, 20 and 19 year old sons driving responsibly on the roadways and soon a 16 year old driving! Is a mother to live in fear when her sons are on the road??? I have five more children too raise to driving age and whats it going to be like when they get there? Things need to change real soon or we are all going to be living in constant emotional pain because someone made the wrong choice to drink and drive. Its bad enough that accidents happen that dont involve drinking and driving. Blessings to all!

I just wanted to share that besides the wonderful share program and our awesome food pantries in the area, there is a new bent and dent grocery store in beloit at 2571 park avenue! The prices there average half of what they do at the local grocery stores and I have found that if I shop there first to get all that I need of their selection, I then go to the larger grocery store for the rest of my list. They also take the quest card. With our economy the way it is, I am surprised that there are not more of these stores. Its an awesome way to shop, especially when I am cooking for a household of seven.
