On Hail Armageddon

I love how the word NEED has become the new liberal battle cry. Why do you NEED this tax cut? Why do you NEED that type of gun, Why do you NEED to drive a SUV? Why do you need to drink a 20oz soda? How about this question Why do Liberals NEED me to justify every purchase, action or thought that I make? I never knew my freedom had a justification prerequisite.

On Diversity class draws national attention

I hope all of the non white students who apparently are subjected to so much racism on a daily basis (sarcasm) dont go to a job interview with the attitude that your owed something because of your "disadvantaged" status. If any potential employee did that their resume would find its way into the trash. Businesses do not want people playing the blame game for their status in life. This class is a nother liberal tactic that will hurt more people than it helps.

On Obama on immigration overhaul: 'Now is the time'

Posted on January 29 at 6:38 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

First guns, then he violated the constitution with his NLRB appointments, now immigration? He hasn't even been in his second term for 2 weeks and he is charging full steam to the left. Whats it going to be like in 4 years? Hammer and sickle? I give him credit he was a very good con man in his first term pretending to be a centrist president.

On Don’t place blame for mass killings on weapons used

Agreed 100% but be warned the typical liberal response will be "But knives and bats aren't designed for the sole purpose of killing people" or my favorite one so far which is "So does the 2nd amendment give you the right to own a nuclear warhead?" You can't reason with people who have an ulterior motive beyond what they claim. The radical left wants total disarmament plain and simple. The proof is in Fenistein's new bill which is 10x stronger than the last one which shows what her true intent is and yet the media keeps saying she wants to "reinstate the 1994 ban". If she only wanted to "reinstate" the old ban she would have introduced the same bill as the one in 1994 not craft a new one which is far more severe and one which shows why gun owners are unwilling to compromise. We know her intent is to take a little at a time until there is nothing left to take.

On Is guns legislation reasonable?

Do some research on that bill. Those exemptions for certain guns are nearly all manually operated. Bolt, lever, pump actions, single shot etc. The DC vs Heller decision said weapons which are in "common use" are protected under the second amendment. The AR-15 accounts for nearly 13% of of all rifle sales there are over 3.5 million of them in circulation. Under Feinstein's bill nearly 50 million firearms both rifle and handgun now in private hands would be classified as "assault weapons" as they have certain features which make the gun look scary to an ignorant public. This bill also requires the owner to submit to current National Firearms Act rules that are in place for machine guns which would require a $200.00 tax, fingerprints and photo ID with the local sheriff and registration of the gun with the government. The registered guns would not be allowed to be traded, sold or given to anyone. Upon the death of the owner the gun must be surrendered to federal government. Why is it that you people in the media fail to mention all of these requirements that are in her bill? Are you not doing your homework? Or are you concerned that your effort to help these government tyrants win public support might be hampered if people actually took the time to read what is in her bill and would not support such an extreme unconstitutional bill that ignores everything the Supreme Court has ruled?
