"Tax the rich like we used to before Reagan. Then we wouldn't be a nation in debt."

Perhaps you've been spending too much time down wind from "thekid". First, we're taxing the "rich" far more than we did before Reagan and your current President has doubled down on the national debt in just 11 months in office. Second, I'm old enough to remember, and things weren't all that grand before Reagan. Unless double digit mortgage rates, hyper inflation and fuel shortages are your idea of a good time, that is.

"Are you kidding me? We are teaching our children to speak out against anyone who is different than they are or believes something different then they do by even responding to this group. What ever happened to acceptance of peoples differences and beliefs?"

Exactly, so how about some of you liberal wing bat "squeaky wheels" accept that there are some folks that wish to hold a vigil in honor of a fallen soldier. You want to have your right to disagree, go ahead, disagree all you want. But that doesn't mean that everyone else should always have to bend over backwards to oil the squeaky wheel. The Constitution doesn't guarantee you the right not to ever be offended, about time some of you folks started figuring that out because most of the rest of us figured it out a long time ago.
On Decker: Not enough votes to override DNR veto

What a shame, one less taxpayer funded position that Doyle could have handed to one of his political cronies. Boy, Wisconsin is really going to miss such selfless leadership when this clown finally slithers out of office next year.

"If the city is looking to do something with the Vet's building why not consider it for the new city hall?"
>>
That option was considered, and quickly discarded. Several reasons were provided but what it amounts to is that the building wouldn't have the amenities Edgerton's city leaders want, and since the taxpayers are footing the bill, why build anything but the best. After all, just because we're in tough economic times doesn't mean government should have to make sacrifices. They've always got the taxpayers to fleece when they run short on cash.

True, he's already proven that he's a hypocrite and a scumbag who isn't fit for public office, yet the state politicians will keep him around because they're all hypocrites as well.

"Who is running the show here the DNR or the whiners.......I mean hunters?"

Those "whiners" would be the folks forking over $24 or more each to the DNR for hunting licenses. In other industries besides government they would be known as "customers". They're also known as "taxpayers", you know, the folks that pay for people like Mr. Warnke to still collect a state paycheck.

On Janesville police seeking district's former IT boss

"As long as the district got what they paid for. Who cares who owns what. I agree with the good grief, do the police really not have anything better to dO??
I would say ' GO GET HIM' if he had out right stole money, and the district had nothing to show for what he bought. But for the sounds of this article that is not the case."
First off, if you actually read the entire article it states that this guy's deliberate decision to use his friends' company may have cost the school district (in other words the taxpayers) an extra $161,000. Second, no, the police do not have better things to do, this would be part of what they are paid to do. Gotta love your attitude of "who cares". I, for one, care as a taxpayer if an extra $161,000 was spent that could have been used elsewhere. You, on the other hand, could care less where tax dollars get squandered. With folks like you casting votes its no wonder we're in the situation that we're in not only state wide but nation wide. Hope and change, eh buddy.
