On Janesville company pondering expansion

every once in awhile there is a "random drug test" but i don't see why that's a problem (unless of course you are on drugs). I myself wouldn't want to work around dangerous machinery with others who are "under the influence" of drugs/alcohol. I see this as a positive not a negative. I remember when i worked at Lear and there was a forklift operator who crashed it and was found to have been high on cocaine. they could have killed someone and instead the union saved this persons job.

Their entry level positions start at almost $13 an hour and there is alot of room for advancement. Like i said benefits are great too. We have one of the better insurance policies in town for a manufacturing company. It is a sister company and will forever be linked to Prent. Its a great place to work. Im not sure why there is negativity about a growing business in your community? Your probably the same people complaining about the number of unemployed in our area.

I have personally witnessed this company grow by leaps and bounds in the 13 years i have worked there. yes there are 12 hour rotating shifts but that just means every 2-3 days i have another 2-3 days off! The jobs pay pretty well with excellent benefits. I am excited about this expansion/move as we have absolutely outgrown the building we are in. Anyone who is criticizing this is either jealous they don't work there, or did and couldn't hack it.

i don't blame this person for not stopping. I wouldn't have either. 8:30pm on a country road i'm not picking anybody up, i don't care how cold it is. This person did the responsible thing and contacted authorities to handle it.
