If you're worried about safety, Paw Print Park isn't always the answer. I was a card-toting member for two summers--fenced in dog parks are good in theory, as long as you and your dog aren't fenced-in with unruly canines and their apathetic owners. Go at your own risk is all I'm sayin'.

As soon as I heard the sirens, I logged onto gazetteextra.com and wclo. They had a link to the radar and information about the tornado warning. When they updated this blog, that link disappeared.

biggirl--It's only a needless law if you've never been on the bike that's speeding towards a car that's 20 feet away whose driver just opened the door without checking for cyclists.

I wonder how this law will be promoted so that people are aware?

The city ordinance allows up to four total dogs and cats in combination. However, if you have ONLY cats or ONLY dogs, you may ONLY have three.

I hope to see positive news coming out of the Humane Society with the new leadership. Good luck and welcome!

I remember receiving a yellow calico cat from the Mercy Women's auxillary when I spent time in the intensive care unit as a child--it was such a wonderful notion, and made me feel more at home than I thought possible. I imagine this project is having similar effects. Keep up the good work Project Linus!
