I think the question really is: What's RIGHT with the Edgerton police policy? Way too many times, a person is 'convicted' by the news media. It's best to withhold as much personal information about a potential criminal until due process has taken it's course. A person should have a right to be judged by the justice system BEFORE being judged by the media and the general public.

These cuts are a good start. Our DOT needs to cut another 35% to 40% beyond these cuts. At least they are starting to lose some of the massive amounts of fat that they have accumulated over the years.

Gleesac- I run a very efficient small business. To get there, I had to cut ALL expense until it hurts - then back-off a smidge in order to find the sweet spot for both efficiency AND profitability. I'm merely suggesting that the taxpayer does the same regarding the teachers. It worked for me, but might not work in the public sector - just sayin' .....

Well what do 'ya know - the kids still get educated when we cut back on the teachers lavish pay and benefits. This means we need to continue cutting the outrageous amounts we pay to teachers - keep cutting until we see a difference.

This horrible accident took a very well-liked man away from us. My heart goes out to his family and friends for their sudden and unexpected loss. Now is the time to grieve his passing - the investigation will follow in due course. The co-workers and emergency workers showed-up in force and did all they could do in the 12-hour rescue attempt. Jerad will be greatly missed.
