On Will extending domestic partner benefits attract top-notch city employees?

Tim,
That's on the table for many companies right now as well. Budget cuts, lack of revenue but adding unknown expense to the budget. It may be small, then again it may be larger than anyone predicted. It's an increase either way.
Meanwhile, it feels like the budget is being nickeled and dimed looking for money.
On Downtown Janesville parking plaza reopens

When the plaza was closed for repair I did not hear any distress about the lack of parking during the day. Were there any issues with availability? If not, that's a great start to the study.
On Are parks worth the price? Janesville council looks at costs, benefits

Friends groups have brought many parks back to their original beauty. Riverside Park is a perfect example. The park regressed before the recession and GM left and the Friends group stepped up in the early 2000s to reclaim the jewel! Traxler and Lustig are a few more examples. We also have some wonderful neighborhood parks.
To answer the question in the title of the article - I say yes, our parks are worth the price.

On UW-Rock County enjoys record number of students for fall semester

I was thankful to attend U-Rock and echo many of the same sentiments that were mentioned in the article. In fact, there are still a few professors that I bump into who still recognize me. You normally don't get on a larger campus. The staff and student based prepared me well as I finished and headed to U-Dub Dub.
A special thanks to Professors Lampe, Burke, and Reinhardt. In student services, thanks to Greg Smith, Terry Borg, Karen Greenler and Connie at the front desk!

'Jobs' really haven't been debated yet. It's mainly been abortion and Medicare that the candidates have been debating through the media. Once jobs hit the debate platform I wonder if we will see images of the tired building on the national news again?

Great childhood memories of visiting Mary and her stopping over to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner. What a wonderful lady. I'm lucky that she was a part of my life.
