On Will extending domestic partner benefits attract top-notch city employees?
That's on the table for many companies right now as well. Budget cuts, lack of revenue but adding unknown expense to the budget. It may be small, then again it may be larger than anyone predicted. It's an increase either way.
Meanwhile, it feels like the budget is being nickeled and dimed looking for money.
On Downtown Janesville parking plaza reopens
When the plaza was closed for repair I did not hear any distress about the lack of parking during the day. Were there any issues with availability? If not, that's a great start to the study.
On Are parks worth the price? Janesville council looks at costs, benefits
Friends groups have brought many parks back to their original beauty. Riverside Park is a perfect example. The park regressed before the recession and GM left and the Friends group stepped up in the early 2000s to reclaim the jewel! Traxler and Lustig are a few more examples. A special thanks to Professors Lampe, Burke, and Reinhardt. In student services, thanks to Greg Smith, Terry Borg, Karen Greenler and Connie at the front desk!

Congrats Zach! You are a humble and kind fella...and one heck of an athlete!
