Woodbridge Corp makes the foam seats that Lear covers. They provide seats to GM, Ford, Mitsubishi. They are actually a worldwide business with the corporate office in Canada. The Brodhead plant was the first US plant they purchased. Prior to that the plant was known as Janesville Products. The local plant in Brodhead recently began also manufacturing Lifetime Lumber which is a composite wood.

These are the same guys who helped us set up for AirFEST. They are an excellent group of workers, respectful and always willing to help. They've made some choices in the past which they're now paying for. Without them, setup could not have taken place. Ever wonder how Rotary Gardens stays so nice? Look to RECAP. Keep up the great work guys!

On Obama to visit Beloit

bigmackdog, it is people of your mentality that continues to feed the vilness of racism. You should be ashamed of your self and if you are not, well, we consider the source. This country is made of many (including yourself) nationalities, ethnics, and race. If it weren't for this we would not be called the "United" states! People like you should not be allowed to breed their racist views! Please refrain from spreading anymore ignorance. Our country will elect a black president, or a women president. It's no worse that electing an oil rich govenor of Texas!

On Woman faces charges in death of baby boy

Honeybee, you said exactly what I wanted to say. WELL DONE!!Once I read your reply I quit thinking up my own. Perfectly said! We need to give little Israel a voice, God knows his parents and caregivers sure didn't. Shame on each and every one of them, including the foster mom. God rest his little innocent soul and to Hell with those who LET him die. I hope they live a long, long life remembering what they allowed to happen and suffer every minute remembering. This is a lesson people, take heed. If you are a parent, be one! Be responsible, love your children, put them FIRST. Get help if you need it, but don't let another little one die or suffer from abuse. We are reading too much lately about these poor innocents dying due to an adult. It's got to stop! It's a life, not a disposable human being. People like this should not be allowed to procreate.

On Janesville woman charged after child's death

Posted on January 8 at 9:12 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

My opinion, I wish sterilization were an option for the court to order as part of a very long sentence! Neither should be allowed to have children nor be around any, period. This poor baby didn't have a choice did he! To be charged with "child neglect", what a slap on the wrist. Why not negligent homicide? A child is dead, why do they get away with this? Why are we reading so many articles about deaths of children, like they are disposable human beings? Make the penalties tough, I mean real tough, like a life sentence. These people are truly getting away with murder and it makes me sick!

On Hendricks remembered for his generosity

Posted on January 2 at 8:18 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

Mr. Ken Hendricks will be remembered as a visionary who was determined and successful in his quest to enable people to realize their full potential. God rest his soul and give peace to his loved ones. As for the comments left by "sandman", get a life. What Mr. & Mrs. Hendricks did prior to the accident is not your business nor anyone elses. Their private life is just that, private. How dare you even question why or what they were doing. Ken was doing what Ken knew, checking on work done that day. If you had an ounce of knowledge you would not have left the message you left. Ignorance at it's best is what I see in your message. There is always one in the crowd and sandman, you are it. Before commenting again please get facts before spewing your hate and inaccuracies.

On Billionaire Hendricks dies after fall

Ken will be greatly missed by all who knew him and didn't know him. My deepest most sincere condolences to Diane and family, including all the employees who he also treated as family. This is a terribly sad day. The Gazette did a terrible job in headlining and article writing. A great deal of respect should be offered for this man who was the greatest visionary this area has seen. Shame on the Gazette!

On Overnight parking at Wal-Mart banned

Posted on December 18 at 12:37 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Walmart has been known to RV'ers as a place to stop if a break or nap was needed. It's not like people are intentionally planning to go camping at the Walmart parking lot! Another city of Janesville ban on something that's in place to help people! Way to go city "leaders" (term used very loosly)!!! Citizens, please remember these candidates when voting next term!
