I feel charging people for a building permit for a home improvement is a crock of %*#$%.
Also raising property taxes because a person improves his or her home is wrong. In my case I work hard to earn the money to make the improvements.It took many years to save up to make them one by one.The city thinks because
we can make improvements we can afford to pay higher property taxes. That`s BULL.The city wants our houses to look nice and not like dumps but what happens when we fix our houses ?
No matter how little. We get penalized.if we don`t get a building permit We get fined.If
we want to do some remodeling to our own houses we should be able to without paying the city.

I listened to the news just last week and it was reported natural gas won`t go up like expected. The reason is natural gas production is up 8% from last year and right now there is plenty. Someone is not telling the truth.

Went out after work and snowblowed my sidewalk.
It was pretty deep. I finished and went in the house to sit down and what do you suppose
happened? The snow plow went flyen down the street and completly covered my sidewalk again.
Not just mine but all of the sidewalks in the neighborhood. I had to go out and do it all over again. The snow was so heavy my big snowblower had a heck of a time going through it. Happens every time.
