On School workers to pay more for insurance

Welcome to real world, Dave Parr.

On Activists see little-known UN plan Agenda 21 as a threat to freedoms

Posted on July 17 at 7:48 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

This article just reeks of city bureaucrats trying to shove their agenda down our throats because they're not getting their way. This is probably the least interest news story one could possibly imagine - no way the Gazette decided to run this on their own. This is nothing more than a political advertisement and its a joke.

On Recall petitions may be made public

Good news, now it will be easy to bill each signer proportionately for the cost of this ridiculous charade so it doesn't add to the cost of our already bloated state government.

On Recall elections could be June 5

Posted on March 14 at 11:21 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

I'll be voting for Walker. Delusion is the only excuse for people who want to go back to the head in the sand ignorance that led the state to a $3.6B+ budget deficit. To vote for artificial union protections would be voting for the state to implode just like GM did due to their head in the sand approach with union greed and excess.

Good poem. Where can we find the ones about ignorance and hypocrisy?

On Rock Democrats issue State of Rock County

Posted on January 28 at 7:30 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Unemployment in Rock County during Doyle's last few years was consistently in double digits, hovering around 15%. Unemployment is currently around 9%. Rock County, along with the rest of the state, is CLEARLY moving in the right direction, regardless of what these demonstrators and the recall petition signers believe they are personally entitled to. Support Scott Walker and continued progress for Wisconsin!

On If Mitt's your guy, it may be Obama for me

Posted on January 18 at 11:28 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

So Barack Obama is a good speaker and presents himself well and that is why you voted for him? This is exactly the problem - too many people vote for personalities and not their ideas. Nevermind that he had no plan to pay for all of his additional welfare and apparently he thinks money grows on trees and we shouldn't have to actually work for a living in America. It sounds wonderful when these democrats talk about how compassionate they are and everybody's going to get a fair shake and the world will be such a happy place when they're elected but they forget that someone has to pay the bill for all their handouts and that requires actual work and taking from people who work to support themselves. We need to encourage personal responsibility and not people getting something for nothing.

On Recall Walker petitioner removed from Hedberg library entrance

Still don't understand this recall...Anyone who doesn't agree with Walker's agenda who was too lazy or too stupid to vote against him last November should not have a second chance at it.

On WHY not a referendum in WI? So, RECALL!

Posted on November 15 at 9:26 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

Following your logic John the citizens of Janesville should have the ability to vote on all public employee labor contracts. If I have to pay for these salaries and benefits I should be able to vote directly for or against them. Until I have this ability I will not support public employee unions because government employees and school boards (at least in Janesville) are not competent enough in finance and economics to make decisions for me.

On Thanks

Great post Frank, probably the first blog post here that's really struck a cord for me (and I'm not a veteran). Thanks for your service and for this sobering piece of reality you've written here.
