My sources say they want to build at the recently razed Energetics site. I just hope the powers that be hold off spending this much money until it's clear about the city's economic future.

To me it seems like all the people that smoke are the ones that can't afford it or have health issues. I know one guy that smokes four packs a day and has serious health issues- including blood pressure,heart,circulation and diabetes problems. He's in his fifties and is on social security. The kicker is his wife has just as serious health issues and smokes even more than him! Drive downtown through the poor sections and everyone is smoking! I got customers that can't afford to pay their bills but continue to smoke.
I figure if you smoke it's probably about a $10 a day habit( pack and a half). Now if a husband and wife both smoke that's $600 a month! That's a nice house payment!

alright!! great to hear that they caught one of these scums! I wonder if this is the same guy that robbed the guy in his driveway at gunpoint a few days ago? Now if the local cops could catch these burglury rings operating in this town it would be wonderful!

What the police have to do is get a handle on the rash of burgluries in this town!! ASAP!! This is getting rediculous- every day there is at least one burglury in the reported column but there are usually about three a day. I know of at least three large burgleries that never even made the paper. I am really wondering if some police could be involved??
