My wife likes the hard copy while I always read the online. If there is an extra charge we will drop one.

wortnik hits the nail on the head. You can always find someone with clean record to get the permit. If you are that worried maybe do a background check on everyone who attends.

Talk about misinformation. "The Courier article reports the fact that the Milton School District Office is closed from Monday, December 24, 2012 through Tuesday, January 1, 2013. This means that the ONLY opportunity for a citizen to become a candidate for our school board would be during the day on Wednesday, January 4, 2013."
On DNR endangered-turtle action questioned

We have 1 to 3 Blanding's turtles that nest in our corn/soybean fields every year. They walk about 2 miles from the creek right past some DNR turtle nesting areas. The DNR hires the Milwaukee Zoo to glue radios to their backs & follow them until they lay their eggs.
The past few years they have been taking the eggs back to the Zoo to hatch. Once they are all hatched they are brought back & released. A couple years ago the zoo people stopped to show me the baby turtles. There must have been 30 of them. I ask at that young age how many survive? I was told maybe 1 or 2. When I ask why they didn't keep them longer I got a blank stare. I guess if 20 a year survived soon we would be overrun with turtles.
