I think that instead of trying to decide where they should have the fireworks, you better figure out IF their going to have the fireworks. you better get your check book out and write the odd fellows a check. the guy who helped pay for them the last 5 years said the hell with it. when they tried to do something good for the city, alls they did was screw with them. in sound off, on this blog, and wclo all complained last year at who sponsard it. let the gazzette step to the plate this year, its right out their employee parking lot. they made enough money off the halbach's, now they should spend some.

marymac4,thats crazy to put the burden on the bar owner.there are more fat people killed by heart attacks every year than by cancer.are you saying that mcdonalds should not sell to people who order a double bacon cheeseburger and shake because they know its gonna kill them? the AA big book says to take the resonsability of your own life, you are to try and help others, not to run the asspects of everyones life. no matter how hard you try, you can't save everyone.quit making everything the bar owners fault.most people a cronic drinkers because their heads messed up, not because they like the taste of beer or wine. thats a taste you have to aquire.

the people that complain maybe, should travel outside your 50 mile radius of janesville. every square inch of japan that can grow something,is supporting someone.i remember reading about the piligrams, the first real farmers, and i think that's how they did it. if you did not grow it, you starved.they are probbaly laughing at you on how much wasted time you spend on your unproductive key board, commenting on things that won't even get you a free glass of water.

Lynch them, hang them high, drag them behind wild horses. we don't need no court system. the gazette prints it, the police said it was true!! why waste taxpayers $$$.they would not have had to write the constitution if our founding fathers had the knowledge that most of you have on impulse guilty or not guilty verdicts without the trial.alls im saying is let them be tried before you find the highest tree.

everyone should get to know Bill Truman.
he is truly concerned about janesville. he listens to your concerns, checks them out, and gets back to you with an answer. its mind boggeling that a person elected to office still does this.

the gazette should go talk to the halbachs so they can start screemin meemees up again. they helped sell more papers then anything else that has happend in janesville in the last 3 years. it cost the taxpayers $650k to convict him of a disorderly conduct, but look at all the people the gazette was able to keep employed. was that one of the first govt bailouts?
