Tony Evers' Taxpayer-Funded Political Machine

"A quick look at the Department of Public Instruction finds the government agency acting as the political organizing hub for opponents of school choice. Superintendent Evers has posted statement after statement opposing and deriding the choice program and there is a 17-page white paper detailing DPI's opposition to Governor Walker's proposal to expand the school choice program. And now we know that Evers' deputy was running an operation to mobilize opposition to the expansion of choice.

In effect, DPI was conducting itself like a publicly-funded lobbying organ, putting out research papers, issuing statements, and attempting to mobilize opposition.

Taxpayer-financed political organizing as standard operating procedure."

Evers and the school employees should be facing charges, just as the former Milwaukee county employees who were posting on blogs on work computers, during work hours (and were prosecuted).

I wonder why the "Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism" didn't report on the four day session held last week in Madison, since the UW was involved?

The only factual statement in this article, and the left is so good at implementing this tactic.

Cao did provide the LONE republican vote for the HOUSE version of the health care reform bill. He agreed to that ONLY because of the added provision specifically barring taxpayer funded abortion. when the SENATE(the final version) was presented, Cao voted against it. He WAS the most liberal republican in the House, which is why he was defeated in his bid for re election.

"non essential medical procedure"

The outrage over an ultrasound (non invasive procedure) being done before a fetus is killed, is rather hypocritical. How about the "non essential medical procedure" for partial birth abortions? Sickening and shameful, especially when the person in the WH voted for it. Killing babies is NOT "sexual health care", as some have labeled it.

Obamacare was passed in the "dead of night" on Christmas Eve, behind closed doors. No one who voted for it READ the bill, and it passed by democrats and two independents, not one republican voted for it.
