What is wrong with collecting taxes on the building and property but, letting them have exempt status on the income made from these properties. I know the thinking / and practice will be that they will pass on the costs to the user. That is what the government will do. Tax cuts are often paired with fee increases.

Lets put a charge to walk through the doors of every courthouse , police dept. , and the capital and all munincipal buildings in this state. Think of all the lobbyists, Lawyers and riff raff that would pay just to enter the buildings! Also charge double for phone calls. That way they cant get around the fees! You want to pay half, walk in and you pay half. Those who have the money will call and pay double. Just a thought here.

This is an absolute abomination. We drive less and get rewarded with more taxes. This is rediculous. We all saved more in our 401k and it got raided!! We should demand to know where all of our money is going!! And just where will all of this go?Why not raise the taxes / tarriffs of foreign products coming into our country? Think about it? For every item imported we could get and extra 10 cents. That has got to raise billions and billions of dollars, maybe trillions!!!

The workers of this community did not make the decisions for G.M. Shareholders were even held hostage in the poor choices top management made. I dont work there but, know a lot of good hard working people who did. Globalization is not working out very well. Upper management put their money in other countries while we here in the USA are suffering the consequences. These are sad times!

12 million illegel immigrants, 1 doctor visit apiece at a conservative 100 dollars each = 1.2 billion to the U.S. taxpayers healthcare bills. My premiums went up 10 percent. Maybe a Doctor can comment on how much these illegal / undocumented people have impacted their costs and really who is paying their bills?
