By ANN MARIE AMES   Saturday, January 7, 2012 - 8:58 p.m.

EVANSVILLE--An unidentified duck is blocking traffic near the Good Speed Gas 'n Go, 350 Union St., Evansville.

A caller reported the duck to Rock County Communications dispatchers at 8:50 p.m. Saturday.

The reporting party chased the duck into the gas station at least twice, but the duck continued to walk into traffic, according to dispatch reports.

(This is just a picture of ducks. It's not a picture of the offending duck. Really, you can never have too many pictures of ducks.)

It's Saturday night. I've got a fresh cup of tea and the scanner is on. Life is good!
