L'il Grumpies

Rotary Botanical Gardens in conjunction with Rock County UW Extension is now accepting registration for its new youth gardening camp for August 19 and 20.

“L'il Grumpy Garden Day Camp” named after the Garden’s volunteer group, “The Grumpies” will give kids from kindergarten to fifth grade a chance to plant, and play and learn about gardening, physical activity and nutrition.

The program will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 19 and 20.

Registration is required: $30 per youth general public; $20 per youth RBG friend-member. Includes snacks, crafts and T-shirt.

Deadline for registering Friday, August 1.

Registration is available on the Rotary Botanical Gardens Web site or by calling (608) 752-3885 x17. Please leave a mailing address so forms can be sent to you.
