The blotter
Here are a few old blotter items that I never published:
A man on Anthony Avenue told police the ashtray was missing from his unlocked vehicle. The ashtray was stuffed with $2 in change. The ashtray was found, but the change was missing.
A driver nearly hit a boy and two student crossing guards while they were in the crosswalk at Adams Elementary School. A father who had just dropped off his kid honked. The driver flipped off the father.
An officer made a traffic stop at Milton Avenue and Centerway. The driver of the vehicle pulled over, exited the vehicle and ran away. The officer yelled, “Stop police,” but the man kept running. He was caught and arrested.

It is amazing how people who worry about their time being wasted tend to waste more time logging in and typing about how their time was wasted.
