Bombs away
A couple got into a verbal argument about their relationship while traveling in a car in Janesville.
The man opened the passenger door and jumped out of the vehicle, rolling onto the pavement. He later complained of head and back pain.
He was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and recklessly endangering safety.
Meathead
A suspicious man in a puffy blue coat was in a grocery store along Center Avenue in Janesville.
The man went into the meat department and stuck T-bone steaks in his jacket. A grocery worker followed the man.
The thief then started moving toward the door quickly. The man began running as he got to the doors.
He dropped four steaks on the ground in the parking lot, but he got away.
Unfair trade
A theft was reported along North River Road in Janesville.
Two men rowed up to a man’s pier in a canoe.
They attached a trolling motor to the man’s 14-foot aluminum boat.
They stole the boat, but they left behind their canoe.

There was a guy selling stolen booze at bars a month or so ago. He got busted the same day. Like SwissChick said, they walk amongst us....but then again, it's cheap entertainment for the rest of us!!! Keep 'em coming, Ted!!!

It sounds like the boat crooks got a "Free Upgrade"...dumped their stolen canoe for a stolen boat. The stolen trolling motor probably works better on the boat too.
They should have tied a rope on the canoe and draged it along for backup.

In regard to the boat theft and the canoe left behind as my Grampa always said there is a seat made for an ass everyday!
