A cure for Harry Potter withdrawal

By STACY VOGEL ( Contact )   Saturday, July 18, 2009 - 1:54 p.m.

So if you, like me, have already seen the sixth Harry Potter movie and read all the Harry Potter books (including "Tales of Beedle the Bard") and are wondering where you can get your next Harry Potter fix, here is the answer: Twitter Faux Harry Potter.

For those of you unfamiliar with Twitter, it's where you can post anything and everything you're thinking in 140 characters or less. This site shows what Harry Potter, Hermione, Ron, Draco and even Professor Snape might be twittering about during the course of the sixth book. I especially love Snape's profile. Much better than real-life Twittering.

There aren't any major spoilers, except maybe who has a crush on whom, so you should be safe to read it even if you haven't read the sixth book or seen the movie. But if that's so, why haven't you?

Favorite line from the website:

"R&H, wait till you see Dumbledore's hand. It's black and dead and I think I just threw up slugs in my mouth."

At the age of 50 I can say the Harry Potter series is one of the best I have ever read and the movies are great.
