Big wind meeting on Thursday

By Gina Duwe ( Contact )   May 27, 2008 - 12:05 p.m.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend. In case you missed our holiday coverage, here's a story I did about an Evansville area vet and Evansville women affected by war.

Coming up this week is a big meeting related to the Evansville/Town of Union wind project. The town plan commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed ordinance that would regulate wind turbines. Here's the agenda, and here's the most recent story about the project.

I'm guessing it will be a full house with residents from all sides of the issue turning out to voice their opinion on what the board should do. I'll see you there.
