Leading off
So a hard slide into second base is all it took to get Rickie Weeks out of the lineup, and more important, the leadoff spot. Yost's refusal to give up on his prodigy was killing the Brewers. With Weeks batting a robust .210 and Mike 'I'm old and overpaid' Cameron batting a stellar .214, Braun and Fielder are starting to feel the effects by not seeing a lot of good pitches to hit. Kapler should be playing until he stops hitting, that's all he's done since the year started. Hart should lead off, and Cameron, how about a late defensive replacement for Braun in left. The amount of money you're making shouldn't dictate how much you're playing. Ask Bill Hall.

GOOD ONE C2C!
Brewers look like a .500 team all the way to me. They still are one of the best home teams in the NL, but the central is very deep this year (who would have thought?) and they struggle to much on the road. To bad the Crew wasn't in the NL west, I think they'd be in 1st place!

I've been saying this since Weeks has been in the league. A career .220 hitter with spotty defense and the Brewers just won't give up on him. Nobody with those numbers should be pulling a major league paycheck.

This whole club is preparing to unravel. The team's talent will get them to .500, and a few win streaks will unfortunately protect Ned's job through the season.

But Billy already wants a trade, Prince will hit "only" 30-35 homers and then expect a big contract or he's gone (or disgruntled), and the pitching staff is a mess.

I am looking forward to the final month so Braun can simply play for stats and maybe Melvin calls-up the young guys from Huntsville and Nashville.

Maybe they should put Gagne in the lin-up. Get some use out of the $10 million they spent on him, and who knows, he probably hits better then all the .200 bats they have in there now!

I see on a competitors site that they are going to move Hart to leadoff, followed by JJ Hardy. They are moving Cameron down to around 6th followed by Hall who will be playing 2nd. My question is how in the world do you put Bill Hall in at 2nd base and let Joe Dillon sit? I think Bill Hall is only batting .254 during batting practice. So that makes the 5-7 hitters Branyon, Cameron, and Hall. What's the under/over on K's from this trio? Maybe we could trade for Jose Hernandez and put him in at SS batting 8th. So does anyone know if Rob Deer is still active?

No other manager changes lineups like Yost.Hall, and Weeks are not major league players. and maybe they should retest cameron?

all good points, accept the defensive replacement for braun. why would you pull his bat for defense, when theres nothing wrong with his defense?? still ZERO errors....
