Charges for bank robbery suspects
Six suspects now face federal charges for a Rock County bank robbery.
The six are charged with armed bank robbery and conspiracy to commit bank robbery of Mid America bank in Footville. Five of the defendants are also charged with possessing firearms. Thirty-five- year-old Troy Thomas and 21-year-old Curtis Seaberry, both of Rockford, are charged with being felons in possession of those firearms and Thomas is charged with possessing a sawed-off shotgun. He faces up to 42 years in prison.
The other five each face at least 15 years in prison for bank robbery and conspiracy.

The sad fact is that theses idiots are going to cost the taxpayers millions of dollars before the final day is served and final parole is checked.
These people will never pay back what they owe to society and, more likely, will incur greater debt in the future.

I am certainly glad that these are federal charges. We all know that they would just plead out if it went to our district attorney's office for something like 6 months in county jail.

It's amazing what people will do for a few hundred dollars (each). I hope they all receive maximum sentences for putting such fear in that community, especially those poor kids and the teachers protecting them.
