You see that is just the thing that pisses everyone off you think a guy working at Burger king is less than you because he works more minutes in an hour than you do for 1/4 the pay and feeds his family. I respect the Burger King worker more than the G.M worker they have more values
it's history!!!!!!!!!!! they told you and told you to transfer if you wanted to continue working with gm. why the denial in this town? believe it and the next thing will be the day they demolish the building. more drama, more news, more tears.
cardtrader you are so wrong, yes we were standing around the last job left my area the day before. We all came back in today to see the final suv off of the line. It was a very emotional moment for all of us there we are very proud of our jobs and the quality we produced. The local area is going to miss the income this place brought in and the charities we supported. You should get your facts right before you write.
This is why G.M and the other car companys are broke look at all the people in the picture standing around doing nothing. And they waste alot of money on those stupid comercials Goodbye
First of all Good luck to all of the employees at our Janesville plant!!!
good poetry, now do some more writing and lets fill the idiots email box with notes saying, no way do they deserve a raise, not when all of us just watched our jobs go away and watched doors close on a quality place to work.
Go here, put in your address, get your reps email and spam spam spam them!!! I would love to hear that they changed their minds about the raise. This makes me want to leave the state when you hear they want 5.4 percent raise. everyone go here.. http://www.legis.wisconsin.gov/w3asp/wam...
'Twas the night afore Christmas and all through the plant not a creature was stirring not even an ant. The smokestacks were shuttered by the paint shop with care hoping soon that St. Nicholas would bail them out with some flair. The unions were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of concessions danced in their heads. And Michelle in her 'kercheif, and Barak in his cap, had just settled in to fill a great gap. When out on in the lot there arose such a clatter, I sprang from Cherry Street to see what was the matter. Away to the power plant I flew singin' rap, Tore open the boiler to steal it for scrap. The moon on the empty lot covered in snow, gave the lustre of equipment being hauled out with a backhoe. When what to my wondering eyes should appear but thousands of workers terrified by fear. With a rep of the state so lively with daring, I knew in a moment it must St. Welfaring. And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof, the foreclosures and tax defaults handed out in a poof! And from GM I heard an exclaim, as they jetted to Detroit here is how it came, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night, isn't this all so very out of sight!"
