Morning Gazette planned Wednesday

By GAZETTE STAFF Tuesday, December 30, 2008 - 5:35 p.m.

The Janesville Gazette will publish in the morning Wednesday so that its readers and employees can get an early start to the New Year's holiday.

Look for your home-delivered paper before 8 a.m., and papers also will be available at newsstands in the morning.

The Gazette will not publish New Year's Day.

Friday's paper will return to afternoon publication before the weekend papers are published in the morning as usual.

The gazette needs to do a better job of training the paper carriers. It seems our carrier isn't sure if snow is wet and when paper gets wet it gets ruined. I'm thankful just to get a paper but, when it's rolled up I'm really happy. And when it's in a bag I'm ecstatic. It's been countless times that I have found our paper wet. As soon as my subscription is up I'm done.

Yes, kicks is in today's paper, and it has a complete listing of live music tonight and through the weekend.

rims: Today's paper was printed this morning early for distribution to our carriers/stores in the middle of the night rather than our usual late morning/early afternoon distribution on weekdays.

jtmek: Please call our customer service department at 741.6651 for redelivery (if you wish) today if you live in Janesville. Our staff is here until 11am to assist you.
