Lake Geneva woman cited in Interstate crash

State Patrol officials say a Lake Geneva woman is being cited for her first OWI offense after a crash on the Interstate that backed up traffic for miles.
The crash occurred early Wednesday afternoon on westbound I-90 near Stoughton. Authorities say 47-year-old Pamela Stept was traveling in the eastbound lanes when she lost control of her PT Cruiser and rolled several times through the median. Her vehicle flipped over and into a semi on westbound I-90. She was transported to UW Hospital. The driver of the semi is not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.

my husband has a pic of this he said it was bad. That the thing this people that have been drinking get in a car and drive very stupid seening people like her are put people like me love ones in danger that have no choice but to be out working. i hate people like this drinking and driving is wrong and to be this drunk at this time in the afternoon come on.

This woman caused me to be late for work after sitting at a complete stop for 35 minutes.I disgusted at people like this who, on New Years Day, have to drink it up. Its ad when these type of people are on the road endangering over people lives. Drunk at 1:30 in the afternoon, how sad is that. Maybe if you are in your early 20s but 40s is pathetic.

I actually saw this accident in my rearview mirror driving home yesterday. It was horrifying....I can't believe there weren't any fatalities.

I drive from Milton to Sun Prairie everyday, round trip is 86 miles daily. I just don't understand the lack of judgement/sensibilty.
Don't get into a vehicle if you're drunk. How stupid are some people??? Duh...
