Chelsea Clinton is scheduled to make four stops in Wisconsin this week on behalf of her mother.

Chelsea is the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and current presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

According to the Wisconsin for Hillary campaign office, Chelsea Clinton plans to appear in Milwaukee, Madison, Eau Claire and La Crosse on Monday and Tuesday. The campaign office says it expects to release more details Sunday evening.

The announcement comes a day after Senator Barack Obama revealed plans to hold a free rally in Madison on Tuesday evening.

Obama and Clinton are battling for the Democratic presidential nomination. Wisconsin’s primary is Feb. 19.

TCB: I am not a bigot. In fact, I am undecided as to whether I will vote for a woman (Hillary) or a man who happens to be black (Obama). While I agree about Colin Powell, you must also admit that the reason he did not run was because his wife was and still is afraid of an assasination attempt. Bigotry, sexism and racism exsist in all parts of the country; with some parts more prevelant than others. However, the South, where there are a lot of electoral votes at stake, tends to still be less progessive than the Northern states. The nation is much larger than just Wisconsin and the Midwest. Perhaps my posts weren't clear and portrayed the wrong opinion. I FEAR that we, as a nation, will not elect a minority president. You and I may agree that it's time for a change, but others may not.

Momof5:

I would vehemently disagree with you regarding race and the Presidency. Had Colin Powell ran in the early 1990s he arguably would have been the first African American President. Now Obama has the chance. I have no idea where you would get the idea that "the nation is not ready"? It's this type of bigotry that makes me sick.

jester: I agree with what you are saying. Being a woman, it would be incredibly closed minded of me to feel a woman could not do the job. I have no doubts in Senators Obama or Clinton's abililites. However, with the majority of voters not being from generations x or y, I am afraid the older voters will not share our views of change.

momof5 that is very closed minded of you. It's obviously time for a major change with the State our Country is in. It shouldn't matter if you're a minority or not what should matter is your qualifications for the job, regardless of race or gender.

While Senators McCain, Clinton and Obama each have both flawed and sound ideals, I do not feel the Democratic party will be nominating a viable candidate at the convention. Despite times having changed and progressed, I do not feel the nation is ready to have a minority as their commander in chief.

all the comments remind me of a bumper sticker I saw not too long ago: When Clinton lied, no one died.

Janesvillecomments said: I hope either the Democratic party (or the general electorate in November) is smart enough to put Hillary alongside Ted Kennedy as people morally unworthy of the office of President of the United States.

And to that I say: morally unworthy? I think all we have to do is look at who is habitating at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue right now to find a lot wrong with that statement. The Clintons and the Kennedys are NOT the only political family who bring forth much baggage. If you are going to say that, please add "Dubya" to that statement to enhance accuracy.

I was listening to a talk radio show this week that commented on how hypocritical the Clintons are about their daughter. They threatened to sue the restaurant that had her picture on the wall as a customer, http://www.rightpundits.com/?p=933 and they had their election team rag on the MSNBC reporter who referred to Chelsea as being "pimped out" when she called Democrat superdelegates to get votes for Mommy.

===================================New_Paragraph=======================

Seems like the Clintons want to "have their cake and eat it too". I wonder if they are sending Chelsea to Wisconsin to avoid having any local reporters asking Hillary why she didn't divorce Billy the day after they left the White House? (I know the answer is that politics take precedence over morality in the Clinton family.)

I hope either the Democratic party (or the general electorate in November) is smart enough to put Hillary alongside Ted Kennedy as people morally unworthy of the office of President of the United States.
