Stadium district contributes to Lambeau addition
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers are planning a Lambeau Field renovation project team officials say will improve security and fan convenience.
The Green Bay/Brown County Professional Football Stadium District has agreed to contribute $10 million to the renovation, estimated to cost between $22 million and $25 million.
The team plans to construct an underground parking area for players and staff while still allowing fans to watch players as they enter and exit the stadium.
The Packers say the renovation would extend the plaza on the north side of the atrium around the east side to the Oneida gate and move a walkway to improve fan traffic flow.
The $10 million comes from the district’s $12.5 million capital improvement fund. The Packers will fund the balance of the project.

Well, that's good news. Who knows what a football stadium district would have spent the money on otherwise.

That sounds alot like Dallas stadium now, which is much safer for players and staff and allows for fans to line the sides for autographs
