Thousands lose power in southern Wisconsin
(AP) — We Energies says more than 14,000 people have been left without power as a line of thunderstorms makes its way across southern Wisconsin.
Utility spokeswoman Irissol Arce says wind and lightning have left power lines down, but no injuries have been reported.
She says crews are working to restore power. The outages began Saturday about 3:30 p.m.
Arce says the residents affected are scattered throughout the southern part of the state. That includes about 5,000 people in western Wisconsin, about 4,700 customers in the central region and 3,700 in the Milwaukee area.

Perhaps the Gazette should make note when an article is changed/upgraded/corrected, so we all know the comments may be referring to an earlier version.

okay, I stand corrected...When I first read it, it was already spelled "lose" and I thought CC88 was recommending it be changed to "loose". In that case I fully apologize to CC88. I only commented because I thought he/she was recommending the change to the incorrect spelling.

Hahaha. Sometimes instead of being a smarty pants you should just keep your comments to yourself. Especially when you call someone else foolish ;)

Article read loose when first published. Now it is corrected. These posts reflect the first print with typo.

CC88 ( and many others) Loose is the opposite of tight. Lose is the opposite of win, or opposite of gain. On second look CC88, yup, you look very foolish.

Loose power? Don't hurry so much that you make yourself look foolish. Everything deserves a second look!
