From the Janesville Police Department:

The Janesville Police Department is seeking information concerning the identity of a suspect in the passing of counterfeit $100.00 bills.

The police department is investigating 6 incidents, since January, of the passing or attempted passing of counterfeit $100 bills. It is suspected that the same individual is responsible for all 6 incidents. We are releasing surveillance footage from one of the victim stores. Anyone having information reference the identity of the person is encouraged to contact the Janesville Police Department Investigations Division at 755-3044 or Janesville Area Crimestoppers at 756-3636. Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.

Just another low life thief. Only he's screwing with the feds not just the JPD. Im so sick of shoplifters/thiefs, etc..... If he spent half as much time filling out job applications as he has trying to pass funny money.... The economy being in a recession is irrelevant. Counterfeiting/Shoplifting are just cop outs and lame excuses for being a crook. I consider passing a counterfeit at a retail establishment a form shoplifting because you are knowingly screwing the merchant causing them a financial loss. Get out there and earn your money!

My thought was that Nobleone knew turkeyman and was just joking with him on his comment.

I took it as a well deserved shot at me. Oh well I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder

"Am I wrong to presume innocence?"
Surely you jest.
There is no such thing in these here threads.
(A great big roll of the eyes.)

Wow! Did anyone consider that he was commenting on the previous post and was not surprised that the poster couldn't help himself to refrain from making his little joke? I don't know what he meant by that exactly, but I think that the presumed racism is over reactive. Am I wrong to presume innocence?

Nobleone, I hope that wasn't a racist comment? Because for one that was very rude. Anyone can counterfeit bills being any race or gender? But, all that is needed to be done is for the Janesville Police Department to catch the criminal. There was no need for that.

Oh Nobleone. You are not surprised by what? That someone tried to pass bogus bills during a recession? That the JPD is concerned about counterfeiting? That there is a reward? That the suspect is black? Please elaborate for us.

Is the cash reward going to be paid in $100 bills?

Sorry I couldn't help myself
