Janesville man arrested for allegedly stabbing his sister
JANESVILLE—Police arrested a 30-year-old Janesville man late Friday night after he allegedly stabbed his 24-year-old sister with a butcher knife during an argument at their apartment.
Tamika N. Knight of Chicago called police from the nearby Stop-N-Go, 3515 E. Milwaukee St., and said her brother, Tarray Johnson, stabbed her. Police also determined Johnson might be harming another female inside the apartment.
Officers responded to the apartment at 3323 Mt. Zion Ave. Police forced open the door and arrested Johnson and Danielle S. Lovelace, 20. Police said they found the knife Johnson used, along with marijuana and money.
Police said an argument between Johnson and Lovelace escalated, and Johnson stabbed Knight in the hip and hand with a butcher knife.
Johnson was charged with disorderly conduct while armed, recklessly endangering safety while armed and possession of marijuana. He is being held at the Rock County Jail.
Lovelace was charged with possession of marijuana and released.

duh i obviously havent seen you drink a beer. my point was that you have the OPTION to drink a beer. and i dont have the option to smoke some pot. i know the discussion was about pot but when people start making uninformed ignorant statements about pot, i will share the truth AND i will always and every time point out the hypocrisy in the fact that alcohol kills thousand while pot has the ability to heal, the tobacco industry is subsidized like crazy so they tax the sh*t out of the user on a product that CAUSES cancer, yet im a criminal cuz i smoke pot. ignorance and utter hypocrisy.

yo butterfly what is yo definition of a 'good and responsible' job?? cuz the janitor at my kids school does a good and responsible job. so does the guys who picked up my garbage last week. actually miss stuck up, i have a good and responsible job and i smoke pot medicinally or recreationally 2-3 times a day. how many people with 'good and responsible' jobs do you know that are alcoholics, or have been arrested for OWI?? ive personally smoked with a couple college professors if thats 'good and responsible' enough. yo dw first, marijuana enhances as many senses as it dulls. someone im sure over time has been killed because of someone else being 'high'. how many times has it happened cuz of alcohol?? yet you can chose to drink a beer and i cant chose to smoke a lil pot?? hypocrisy.

This is not an article debating drugs... It's about an idiot who stabbed someone. Chances are he would've done it if he was straight/clean too.

i agree dw. and don't they say that mary jane is just the gateway drug. and have you ever known anyone who has a professional job like a doctor that smokes? all the stoners that i know are all burned out and really have no life except smoking pot. real winners they are. oh yeah if pot wasn't that bad of a drug why do they do drug screening for good and responsible jobs?

Lots of this going on in Janesville recently from what I read. Sounds like the cities demographics have changed quite a bit.
