Flood warning for Sugar River

From the National Weather Service:

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a flood warning for the Sugar River at Brodhead from Tuesday morning until Saturday afternoon.

At 9:15 a.m. Monday, the stage was 3.43 feet. Minor flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 5.0 feet. Forecast to rise above flood stage by tomorrow morning and continue to rise to near 7.8 feet by Wednesday afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage by late Saturday morning.

At 8.0 feet, floodwaters are over Highway T in Rock County. A flood of this level can be considered to be between a 2 year flood and a 5 year flood.
