Rollover crash victim identified
From the WCLO newsroom:
The Rock County Sheriff's Office has identified the Janesville man who was killed in a rollover accident on Highway 51 late Wednesday morning.
Authorities say Michael Wellnitz appears to have been traveling southbound on Highway 51 near Driftwood Drive which is just south of the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport when he lost control, rolled the vehicle and hit a billboard.
Wellnitz was wearing a seatbelt.

I am sorry for him & his family, but I am wondering why there is no update on what happened.

This article is about a TRAGEDY.......I think the bickering about nothing from all is a insult to the family who lost a loved one. Not to mention, this is NOT a private conversation board and thousands (people who comment and ones who do not) read it. Very DISRESPECTFUL, IMO!!!!!!!!!!

MY2CENTS, try to put some thought into a comeback!
davvic, for some reason JohnDoe thinks I'm old and he thought he was insulting me by mentioning that magazine or whatever it is. He obviously has ill-will toward older people. Here he manifests displaced hostility toward certain family members.

When I want your opinion I will ask for. My conversation is with J-Doe. My comment was for J-Doe. I, as in ME aggree with the comment that he left. "End of story" I doesn't concern you. If I mentioned you in my conversation, then yes I would be speaking to you or about you, but I didn't. Have ah great day.

MY2CENTS, do you know what the "disagreement" is here? I don't think so. RummageSalesRock and I agree. There is no disagreement. JohnDoe's thread is based on his imaginary belief that a disagreement exists where there is no disagreement. Now you're siding with him in a disagreement that doesn't exist. You are manifesting a contagion of ignorance.

J doe- I couldn't aggree with you anymore. So many people are quick to judge. Just because one doesn't agree doesn't mean your a bad person or that what you belive in is wrong. It just means you don't see eye to eye.

Rummage... I think that is one of the problems with society today...
too many people feel forced into defending and apoligizing for their beliefs...and that is not right.

JohnDoe, why are you afraid to admit that you were referring to me. To pretend that you weren't means you should also be afraid of Colonel Saunders.

JohnDoe..I appreciate your defense, although I totally get that a belief can be offensive to some, along with the belief of non-beliefs. Therefore, I needed to make sure I expressed that I meant no harm, because I wouldn't want someone to offend me with their way of thinking by trying to get me to search in other directions for my solace. No need for arguments, as I don't take offense as long as people are relatively civil about their disagreements.

JohnDoe, Rummage.... and I worked it out. Rummage......'s belief had her indicating that the person's death was appropriate, then she had a change of heart about that. What is it about you that wants aggravate a resolved and sensitive situation?

No one should apoligize for their beliefs.
The ones that should apoligize are those that ridicule someone for their beliefs.

Gazettefan, I am guessing you are responding to me?! I guess that explains you "wordless" post. :) I tend to speak from the heart, and sometimes don't think first. In my mind that is what felt right, but I quickly realized it might not seem that way to others. I guess my sister's atheism has helped me out, I will have to let her know that. :)

As I was sitting here thinking after my post, I truly didn't mean to offend anyone. I was thinking about how my sister would react to what I said, and it came to mind immediately that those that don't believe (just as my sister doesn't) might take offense, and I am sorry for that. My intent was to offer faith and strength to those who lost their loved one. So, if I crossed the line with some, I am sorry for that, I would never want my beliefs to be those of others.

Or it just could have been God's will. As awful as that sounds, I find comfort in believing that we all are here with a perfect plan, and our book has been written and he knows the end before we are even born. I hope the family can rest assured that he is in God's hands and is at peace. I pray for your healing. Faith. That's all we can have. We will never know they whys and hows.

My condolences to the family. I hope this isn't the same Wellnitz family that lost a member in the oil drum accident some years ago, that would be horrible!
.
I'm also wondering why the Gazette took so long to release the name? Local news stations had the name last night on the 6pm news and the gazette didn't get the info until 5am today??

Even if it was a drunk driving accident it would take days for a blood test to prove that. I doubt it, but I hope people will wait for proof before speculating like that.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Micheal. It is a horrible tragedy and for anyone to pass judgment about what happened is unfair. In the other article, alot of bloggers were commenting on this being a drunk driving accident.I dont know where it states that fact 100%.Some people should get the facts before commenting. Im sure the family reads these too.
