Severe thunderstorm warning for Rock County
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Rock County until 5:15 p.m. Sunday.
Radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing hurricane force winds and widespread damage.
The storm is expected to hit downtown Janesville at 4:50 p.m.
The storm is believed capable of producing hail, lightning and very heavy rain.

Well with the hot humid weather I knew we would be hit with a big ol storm. I was suprised however at the wind strength.

NOAA and the NWS did not predict it either. Hot weather can cause storms to pop up. Packrat is correct...we're in Wisconsin.

yep it was a bad one, a tree fell on my moms garage roof, havn't seen the damage yet, but sunds not good.
