OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a young girl who was forced into a car with three men.

Oshkosh police says the girl is between the ages of 12 and 14. They say she was walking Wednesday morning when a vehicle pulled up next to her.

Police say a black man and white man got out and forced the girl into the vehicle. Another black man was driving.

The girl is described as a skinny 5-foot black female. She was wearing a pink tanktop and orange shorts, and had a shiny hair band.

A witness describes the vehicle as a boxy maroon four-door vehicle, with rust spots and a 2 in the license plate.

Oshkosh police ask anyone who might know the girl’s name or who might have information on the incident to call them at 920-236-5700.

Local news media are reporting that nobody has been reported missing and people near the alleged abduction heard nothing unusual. The Amber Alert was allowed to expire.

No updates to this yet? A name for this young girl? A family who has reported her missing? Or has it just not been updated here yet?

To displacedworker: You are missing the point...a young girl has been abducted...who thinks of the race card in a situation like this? Stop pitying yourself because you dont have a job, go out and find a job instead of making the family of this poor girl live through dumb statements like yours

janesvillemom: Thanks for the link. That story is definitely more detailed than this brief. And the details describing what the young witness says he saw are quite alarming.

Its way past time we start taking people who abuse, & or neglect children, & start giving them a whole different justice system, because the one we have is garbage, & it has NEVER worked on these overly demented, evil minds Our Prison system will never be in the business of actually rehabilitating (if that's even possible). My solution is, find a Island in the middle of the Arctic Sea, give them a few supplies, & leave them to themselves. Maybe once in a while air drop a sack of potatoes, & let them decide who gets it. The death penalty might not influence a criminals behavior, but let them contemplate, spending the rest of their life (however short it will be) on a Island in the middle of no where, with freezing temps, with no shelter. See if that doesn't rehabilitate the scumbags just a little

There was an abduction attempt a while ago, almost exactly like this. A girl was walking home from school, and a van pulled up with three men inside, one tried to shove her in. The girl bit the man and got away. She reported it to the police. I'll try to find the article. I hope they think about the connection...

I hope this didn't happen as reported, as well. But stranger abductions are extremely rare, and multiple abductors even more so.

wannabe30: I just checked the Wisconsin Amber Alert site. It looks as if they have no victim name yet and, thus, no photo either. I sure hope it wasn't an abduction.
