3 Milwaukee colleges to research renewable energy
MILWAUKEE (AP) — The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Marquette University, Milwaukee School of Engineering and several regional companies and foundations are joining together to research renewable energy issues.
The partnership is called the Southeastern Wisconsin Energy Technology Research Center.
Some of the research projects involve wind power, using algae for carbon recycling and fuel and renovating existing buildings to be energy-efficient.
UW-Milwaukee says the partnership brings together regional resources to establish a national center that will research renewable energy. The group hopes to attract large-scale funding and leading state-of-the-art technology that can generate economic growth.
The effort marks the first time the colleges of engineering at UWM, Marquette and MSOE have collaborated on a major initiative.

Suggest removal
Just because they don’t mention it does not mean it is not one of the renewable energy they will research. I am sure they could not list all of the research they will do.
