MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Madison area girl says her father choked her, once taped her inside a large plastic bag and also ordered her to eat insects and a mouse.

The 15-year-old girl testified during her father's child abuse trial in Dane County that she was starved at home and ordered by her father to eat cockroaches, other insects and a dead mouse.

The girl also said her father put a large plastic bag on her naked body and used duct tape around her waist. She later freed herself. The Wisconsin State Journal reports the girl said her father choked her at least twice, once by lifting her off the floor by her neck.

The 39-year-old Town of Madison man is charged with 23 counts of child abuse and one count of sexual assault. Her mother pleaded no contest last month to six counts of child abuse.

It's time that those guilty of incest face the same penalties and restrictions as those placed on "strangers" found guilty of child sexual assault.

Napalm, it is one thing to want to try something, it is another to have it forcefed to you-especially if you think it's gross. Why don't you eat some pig anus or bull testicles? It's accepted cuisine somewhere else...

mice and certain insects can carry diseases that can be deadly. eggs and venison are hardly harmful. if the mother is being charged too, who will take care of the child. yes she is 15, but still too young to live on own. this matter is for the courts to decide.

Napalm - yet again your "thought process" disturbs me to my core - you're seriously comparing venison to a DEAD MOUSE and eggs to INSECTS?? The sort of "cuisine" that consists of mice and insects parallels that which one might find in a sewer. I almost hesitate to comment on your post solely based on you making it far too easy!!

I think your gene pool needs a little chlorine, buddy.
