Two municipalities have requested the Rock County Sheriff’s Office lift slow-no wake restrictions on some parts of the Rock River.

The city of Janesville requested the restrictions be lifted Monday because the river has fallen below flood stage, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

The town of Fulton requested the change be made Friday, June 12, to the portion of the river north of Indianford Dam.

The restrictions on the portion of the river south of the dam in Fulton were lifted Friday, June 5.
