MILTON—A Madison man is in custody after trying to meet to have sex with what he thought was a 15-year-old girl.

Florencio Briseno-Resendiz, 36, Madison, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Saturday in a public parking lot in the 700 block of S. Janesville St., Milton, according to a news release from the City of Milton Police Department.

Briseno-Resendiz was taken into custody on charges of child enticement and use of a computer to facilitate a sex crime, both felonies. The arrest took place in a public parking lot in the 700 block of S. Janesville Street in the city of Milton.

The arrest stems from the Milton Police Department’s involvement with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and is the result of an ongoing investigation involving Briseno-Resendiz, according to the news release.

Briseno-Resendiz is in custody at Rock County Jail, according to jail records.

And is "your right" the opposite of "your left"? If you say "yes.", then YOU'RE right!
Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

I'm sorry I made a spelling error. Your right, I'm of a lesser intelligence because I pressed "e" instead of "a"

I stand by my post, thanks justsay... I agree with you 100%, if my children were victims in such a thing, wow.. I'd be in prison for life, let's put it that way. And your post that explains entrapment, well that pretty much explains why there is only a 17% conviction rate in child enticement cases, because I'm sure they all say " I wouldn't have done it" Don't get me wrong, if it was a young girl being persued by a man, well then he belongs in a prison or mental clink, but when law enforcement officers send out hundreds of messages to men trying to get them to bite... Well that's ENTICEMENT, provoking ENTICEMENT

Thank you gma.....They are so wrong thinking that isn't plenty to show INTENT. "Just their thoughts".....PLEASE.....It is against the law even to "chat" about such things, if you have reason to believe that child is underage.....People that make excuses and throw this BS entrapment out there are ignorant at worst.....poorly informed at best.

(unless he was sleep walking/driving...)

MEANDMY......First, thank you for your service.....Second, you're foolish......That was an ignorant post. So, I guess what you're saying is.....if the cops find some lonely 35 year old that wants to sleep with a 15 year old.....It's almost acceptable to use the excuse that he hasn't had sex in forever? Then, at that point, it's OK to prey on the young? Your hypothetical "lonely man" is nonetheless a PERVERT......If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck......etc.....It's a pervert.....Again, what an IGNORANT post.

I created an account today so I could argue and debate with all of you. I'm sorry, but I do NOT agree with how law enforcement agencies handle child enticement arrests. I'll tell you why. They don't just sit back and wait to be contacted by some pervert. They copy and paste a paragraph or a sentence and send it out to HUNDEREDS of men on websites like "myspace" "yahoo chat" and "facebook", they are flirting with entrapment everyday. did you know that only 17% of child enticement cases end with a conviction. It's because the first thing a lawyer lks at is how the contact was made. And 83% of the time it's made by law enforcement. I'm almost positive that 4 days after I arrived back in Wisconsin after being sent over seas for the 3rd time I was contacted by law enforcement. I'll tell you the story: I'm a single father, I have a 6 mnth ld son and a 5 year old son, I have 50% custody of them both. I also work full time as a Chemist in Madison. So lets just say I have NO time to meet women. So where do I try?? The internet!! 4 days after being hme I decided I would create an account on yahoo and see if I could find a decent woman that I could maybe take out on a date. Well after searching for about an hour I recived an instant message from a woman. She asked how I was and where I was from. So I told her. We were not 5 minutes into the conversation when she said "wow your an Army Ranger" "What would you think if I told you I wanted to give you oral sex???? Immediatly an alarm went off to me, whoa wait a sec.... this isn't happening is what I was thinking, my next question was one that I forgot to ask right away, how old are you.. and out comes 17, but I'll be 18 in a month. So I said, well how about you add me as a friend and contact me in a month.. Obviously being 28 years old at the time I had no interest in an 18 year old. I NEVER got another message after I said, contact me after you turn 18. No if I dodn't have the will power that I do, I too, a man who faught for this country for 5 1/2 years, could be sitting behind bars. They take a picture of some young hot woman, and they send out HUNDREDS, I mean HUNDERDS of messages, it's just a matter of time before they find some lonley sucker that hasn't had sex in forever that's going to crack. I agree, get the perverts off the street, but don't use entrapment to do so.

This is my first post, and will definitly not be my last

Oddly enough, Chris Hansen notes that many of his targets are familiar with his television series and his sting operation, but still show up for a rendezvous.

I for one am glad he did not. The police have a hard enough time catching these parasites. I do not know how to take your statement? Educate offenders?
