Report: Wall wants to challenge Wis. Sen. Feingold
By The Associated Press
A political blog says Wisconsin Republican Terrence Wall has filed candidacy papers to challenge Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold.
The Congressional Quarterly’s CQ Politics blog reports Wall filed a statement of candidacy on Wednesday as well as a statement of organization with the Senate’s public records office.
Wall is a Madison real estate developer. By filing the papers he can now begin raising money for a campaign against Feingold, the blog says.
Businessman David Westlake also is seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Feingold, who is running for a fourth term.
A spokesman for Feingold calls both Wall and Westlake “obviously hard right ideologues lacking political independence.”

redhawk: Don't you think the days of these politician businessmen are over? I would hope that the lessons from Wall Street would have taught us that these guys don't know what they're doing. Oh, but no matter, they still somehow deserve massive compensation packages because, heck, they're so smart, so special, so privileged.

Those who challenges Feingold must prove that they'd be any better. Not bloody likely.

You need a civics lesson Kai. It's easy to spout socialism, it's harder to back it up with facts. You conservatives want credit for everything and blame for nothing. Economic boom under clinton, conservatives said it was regan's policies, terrorist attacks under bush, that was clinton's fault. 2 recessions under bush, clinton, horrendous economic downturn that started months before Obama even took office, all obama. You guys want someone to blame for the way this "christian" nation has deteriorated blame yourself.

That's the right attitude, Coyote! If only more Americans shared your view back when FDR was elected to a third and eventually fourth consecutive term as Mr. Prez! If it weren't for that socialist weasel, we might have never "progressed", and we could be a very happy, conservative, Christian nation with real family values, such as alcohol prohibition.

Mr. Scott... I think that Feingold's people are playing to the large democratic support that has helped them to win the last four elections, and made Wisconsin a blue state in the last SIX presidential elections.
I guess, to answer your question, it is "worse" because more people like the hard left ideologue.

In a system without term limits I am instituting my own, as far as my vote; two terms and I cast my vote against the incumbant. I don't care who they are.

If a snake like Paul Ryan can't be defeated, there is no way Feingold will be.

However maybe we need some dirty politics to bring prosperity back to our state. Oh wait, Governor Doyle ruined that theory, lol.

Hmm, how is that any worse than a hard left ideologue?
