Body of missing father recovered
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The body of a missing father has been recovered from a Madison lake, a day after his wife and 4-year-old twin sons were rescued in boating accident.
Dane County Sheriff's Department divers found the body of 39-year-old David Fritz at the bottom of Lake Monona near Olbrich Park about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Sheriff's officials say Fritz turned the fishing boat sharply, throwing the family into the lake Monday evening. Nearby boaters heard the family's cries for help and rescued the woman and two boys.
The children were wearing life preservers, but not the adults.

Not to down side the tragedy, but why these boaters think they have to go petal to the metal. A nice slow ride would be enjoyable,to me!

Very sad indeed, since he probably could have survived by wearing a life vest that costs less than $20
