An accident has closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 39/90 near mile marker 166, Edgerton.

A tanker truck rolled over and both lanes are blocked.

The accident location is south of the Rock River and north of County M.

Westbound traffic is being detoured on to Highway 14, then north on Highway 51 through Edgerton and back onto the Interstate from Exit 160.

The detour, which started at 8:30 p.m., and remains in place at 5:15 a.m.

Sounds like the Westbound (North) lane will be closed for at least another hour or so.

They are sitting on the exits to make sure idiots don't move the barricades and go up the interstate.

I've been listening to most of this go on since it happened earlier today. It's 3:07am and the interstate is still shut down going North. Not sure about Southbound.

OK nice that they have the signs to block 90 now. Just wondering why they also have to have a trooper sit there also. And why is there Janesville cops sitting on the north side parked with there lite flashing?

From what I understand, it was a 4200 gallon propane tanker. Unknown if it was full or not. Either way, YIKES!
